Joseph A. Hutterer Bio
Joseph Hutterer has an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and holds an FAA commercial airplane pilot’s license with single-engine, multi-engine, instrument and glider ratings. He has 42 years of engineering and marketing experience with five manufacturing companies in the general aviation industry. These include Beech Aircraft and Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas; Invicta Industries, Santa Anna California; Textron Lycoming (Regional Office) Wichita, Kansas; and Mooney Aircraft in Kerrville, Texas. He has founded and co-owned 2 small businesses in Wichita: Pearce Aeronautics and Fireside Supply.
Hutterer Engineering is a sole proprietorship which has done consulting work for Raytheon Aircraft and the NTSB. Hutterer has also provided expert witness service for legal defense related to aircraft accidents. Recent activity has been focused on the design, development and patent application for the Hybrid Airplane concept.
